4}But we will devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the word."

We all devote ourselves to something, we all give ourselves to what we choose. This verse is on the back of a administration tension that has arisen. The apostles were approached for help but they refused, instead they appointed men to cover this role. Possibly the greatest challenge we face is our preference for management over prayer. Our primary calling remains our highest calling.
